Privacy Notice.

Boothroyd Group Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17430866, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, is the controller of the personal data described here. It operates boothroydgroup.com, and boothroyddistribution.com under the trading name Boothroyd Distribution. Write to hello@boothroydgroup.com about anything in this notice.

Only what you type into a form. The trade account application asks for the business's name and type, its company number if it is a limited company, your name and work email address, and what kind of business it is. Everything else on it is optional: what you install, where you work, how many sites a year, a website, whether you want a demonstration unit, and anything you write in the last box. There is one form, on boothroyddistribution.com, and there is no other form on either site.

If you write to us instead, we hold the message and whatever is in it, which is normally your name, your email address, your organisation and your question.

With each submission we keep the page it came from and a one-way, salted hash of your network address, used only to stop automated and repeated submissions. We do not keep the address itself.

Neither site sets a cookie, and neither runs analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Our web server records each request, including the network address it came from, for security and fault-finding, and those records are overwritten as the log rotates.

We use a trade application to decide whether to open an account and, if we do, to run it: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the contract itself. We use an email you send us to answer it: our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.

OVHcloud hosts the server in the United Kingdom. Microsoft hosts our email. Resend sends the acknowledgement you receive after submitting a form, and processes the message in the United States under its data processing terms. Each acts on our instructions only. We do not sell or share personal data for anybody else's marketing.

Cellular Path, Inc. manufactures the products we distribute. Once your company is appointed as a reseller, its name and trading address may be given to Cellular Path, in confidence, if it asks us for the list of our authorised resellers. We give that list not more than twice a year and Cellular Path keeps it confidential. Our monthly sales reports to Cellular Path identify resellers by category only. An application we do not take forward is not shared, and we do not give Cellular Path end users' details.

The Cellular Path app and web portal that come with the product are run by Cellular Path under its own privacy notice, and Cellular Path, not Boothroyd, decides what is done with the personal data and device data collected through them.

A trade application that becomes an account: for as long as the account is open and six years after it closes, the period company and tax records are kept. An application we do not take forward: twelve months. An email enquiry: twenty-four months from the last exchange.

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or give it to you in a portable form. Write to hello@boothroydgroup.com. We answer within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first.

This notice was last changed on 24 October 2026. It was extended to cover boothroyddistribution.com, the bulletin and enquiry form that do not exist were taken out of it, what may be given to Cellular Path about an appointed reseller was written down, and the trial site form was withdrawn, which left one form and a shorter list of what it collects.
